Electro Man (father), Rose Wood (mother - deceased) Hair: Brown Eyes: Brown Height: 5'2"
History: It was obvious to many that Holly Wood was on the fast track to success from very early on. The only child of Wally and Rose Wood, Holly excelled in academics and sports from the time she was a young girl. Her success only grew greater in her junior year of high school as she began to get scouted by colleges for basketball, softball, and field hockey, as well as her academic achievement. What none of the college recruiters or her family knew was that Holly had been born with super-powers. Over the summer as she prepared for her senior year, Holly's mother Rose had been diagnosed with cancer. Rose continued to encourage her daughter to live a normal life, despite the obvious deterioration of her condition. Holly tried her best to remain focused on her scholastics and athletics, but the worry over her mother was becoming a tremendous distraction. One night as she went running, she saw a car careen off the road and into a gully. Almost immediately the car caught fire and instinctively Holly rushed to help the passengers. Inside she saw a family of three, including an infant, trapped and unconscious. Holly went to work on the door as the flames spread. To her surprise, the door came off in her hand and she was holding it without any effort. She pulled the family to safety, but as other cars stopped and emergency vehicles were dispatched, Holly soon became frightened and ran off into the rural Portland night. As she continued to run, she realized that she was no longer touching the ground and was in fact flying. Distressed at the discovery of her newfound powers, Holly decided to protect her secret and her family by swearing not to use her abilities. In her senior year, Holly resigned from all of her athletic commitments, citing concern over her mother's condition, much to the disappointment of her coaches and the college recruiters. Holly graduated high school with honors, but tragically, her mother passed away shortly after her graduation. Holly's father had no idea about his daughter's abilities. Formerly a member of the Portland-based superteam, The Protectors, Wally Wood once fought crime as Electro Man. After the death of his wife, Wally Wood sold his electronics company to a Silicon Valley-based firm and moved to Seattle as his daughter attended the University of Washington. In her sophomore year at the University of Washington, a nighttime fire at the Chem Building on campus prompted Holly to once again use the powers she had forsworn. Under the cover of night and smoke, Holly dashed into the building and searched for victims. After saving the lives of several, including a firefighter, Holly decided that maybe these abilities just might not be such a bad thing. During her years at "U-Dub," she acted as the school's "Guardian Angel." Only recently has Holly learned that her father was once a superhero, and the fact that only one of them seems to be able to use their special abilities at any given time has opened the door to more questions. Upon leaning about her father's past, Holly decided that she needed to refine her abilities if she was ever going to be able to help others with them. With that in mind, Holly joined with Armor Security in Los Angeles for a year-and-a-half before returning to Seattle. She now is a partner in her college chum Kelsey's company, a chain of espresso stands called "Brewhaha". Her main interest these days, however, is keeping an eye on Seattle as one of the newest members of Forte. Finding it a little ironic that her father was a superhero called Electro Man, and that her favorite comic book character was the ultra-heroic Electra Woman, Holly now goes by the name of Electra Woman's side kick in the comics... Dyna Girl! Holly lives in a loft in downtown Seattle with her cat Frank.
Power and Abilities: Dyna Girl possesses incredible strength. With minimum effort, she has been able to lift up to 12 and-a-half tons consistently. While under the training provided by Armor Security, she was recorded as having lifted up to 400 tons, though this was exhausting. And once, under test conditions at Questar Labs, Dyna Girl was able to press 1.6 kilotons for about 2 seconds before passing out. Additionally Dyna Girl is very tough, and virtually bulletproof. She can currently fly at speeds of nearly 200 mph, but has steadily gotten faster over time. Questar techs are not sure of what the upper limits of Dyna Girl's strength and speed are.
Personality: Dyna Girl is an enigma. On one hand she enjoys her celebrity and lives life with an almost reckless abandon. Her dating history since becoming a full-time superhero looks like a TV listing of "Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous." On the other hand, she is incredibly loyal to and protective of her friends, most notably Samantha Parker, a.k.a. Nightsable. Additionally, she has a habit of befriending the most unlikely of companions, such as Ken Hollenbeck, the owner of Xanadu Comics, and self-proclaimed "future rock and roll GOD!" Dyna Girl doesn't have a "secret identity" in the truest sense. She makes no effort to hide the fact that, as Holly Wood, she is the daughter of former Protector and current curator of the Forte Museum, Wally "Electro Man" Wood. However as Dyna Girl, she is reluctant to overtly show any affection to her father in public, feeling that her friends' secret lives should be guarded as closely as if they were her own. While it isn't public knowledge that Dyna Girl is Holly Wood, several of her closer friends, confidantes, and internet stalkers have their suspicions.
