The Clobberin' Times is a Champions APA (Amateur Press Alliance), founded by Tim Watts, that published bi-monthly from 1988 to 2000. Dedicated to the Champions Role-Playing Game from Hero Games, it featured contributor submissions ranging from characters to art to adventures to campaign reports to fiction to gaming discussion and more. At its zenith, a typical issue would be hundreds of pages, and could require four stapled sections. Clobberin' Times alumnus have gone on to become game designers, computer game designers, professional artists, comic writers, and one to even purchase and run Hero Games.
