Welcome and News from the CM

Jack Butler

Black Hats and White Capes! #8

Jack has your jones for more Butlerversin' on deck and ready to go. First, we get to meet Aurora, the Icelandic heroine of the Global Guardians, with full sheet and background. Then it's a trip to the Encyclopedia of the Butlerverse, where we learn all about the "Gods of Mythology", "The Great and Powerful Oz", "Hamilton, Bermuda", and the "Icehouse", the "coolest" villain prison in the 'Verse. There's also an eye-opening World War II timeline for the B-Verse, teaching us all about its history and the heroes that made their mark in it. All this, plus some MAJOR shocking real-world news on the life of Mr. Butler. Don't miss out!

Martin Maenza

World of Maenza: Online #27

What's a summer vacation without a trip to Hawaii and a bunch of vampires? Martin's back to the 90s with more adventures from the World of Maenza's Baltimore heroes, Rough Justice. Two exciting new issues - "Sword Quest" and "Interview With the Vampire" - continue to chronicle the team's quest to find the mysterious Sword of Seimei...and that quest takes them to the Hawaiian isles! To go with the stories, there are write-ups for the enigmatic Johann Kirchoff, the aforementioned Sword of Seimei, the local Hawaiian heroes knows as the Hawaiian Highguard, and a sheet for vampires in Martin's world.

Michael O'Connell

The "F" Word #26

There's summertime Forte fun for your vacationing pleasure, and Michael's tossing it at you like a four-color frisbee! In the Forte 2000 area, there's a new tale simply called "Thursday", chronicling one quiet night in the lives of all the current Forte heroes, and showing what goes on when the fists aren't flying. On the Forte.com page, there's an emotional chat log transcript showing an online conversation between a pair of Forte heroes, one new and one old. Over on the Forte Prime site, more classic Forte issues have been added, this time giving you the chance to relive Forte #'s 76 - 81, which contain the famous Millennium Conspiracy epic! And finally, new art in the Forte 2000 gallery!

K.C. Ryan

Son of Thunder #25

It's that time of year when America celebrates...and when 'Timers celebrate new Americana stories! AC is back and turning a whole new corner in her life, and a trio of new tales takes you along with her. "Graduation Day" brings the end of an era and the promise of new beginnings. "Enter: The Marauders!" and "New York State of Mind" bring the action as Americana faces a new, dire (and international) threat, and may need a little help from a friend to get out of this one! Plus, not only is there new Americana art in her gallery, but new Four Aces shots over in K.C.'s Forte Universe section!
